Selphie would never be okay with people dying. While she had lost many friends to war and other tragedies, watching the mother die was a first and left her feeling lost inside. Having to watch it again another time left the girl with that lost feeling all over again. The event that transpired was heavy enough that Uendo's words really didn't have much effect on snapping her out of the memory.
