The shadows and the chaos of combat provided Bonnie with a bit of an advantage in all of this. Doing her best to keep to the rafters and away from errant claws, Bonnie kept her hood down and her eyes focused on following Noctis. She wasn't sure what was going on but this talk of a Crystal caught her interest. If it was anything like the Crystals from her world then it HAD to be important.
Things got a bit harder when Noctis did his little trick of a teleport leaving Bonnie to bounce off the lift cage as it was long shut by the time she got there. She'd have to find another way through! She flew straight up, trying to climb up through the gaps in the ceiling up to the next level.
She was luckier the second time around, closer to the next elevator than Noctis was so when he ran in and hit the button she was already slumped on the floor against the glass trying to catch her breath.
The voice was a sinister one, and familiar to Bonnie though she couldn't quite place it. It was chilling in its tone and the way it tried to creep in but an honest little girl like Bonnie could tell the tone of a lying snake when it was pointed at someone else.
"B-believe in your friends, kupo. They stayed behind to protect you. They told you to go on ahead. Whatever it is you need to do they believe you can do it, kupo."
