Ignis can feel his heart sink the same way his hand passes through Noct's shoulder. Is this... how it was for Noct too, when he came to his aid? Ignis can feel his stomach churn unpleasantly. How did Noct do this? How did he reach him?

"Noct, you have to listen to me!" Ignis yells because as soon as the elevator door opened they had a welcoming party that pushed Ignis away from Noct. He cuts his way through the daemons to catch up with Noct.

"You have to snap out of this. Please! This is just a memory!" Ignis stands in front of him, hoping, wishing he could actually block Noct's way up the catwalk. Or- that if walking through him would make Noct feel something, anything.

"You've been through this. You know what's on the end."
