When Ignis doesn't so much as pause at his voice, Noctis runs after him. He doesn't stop until he sees himself and Luna lying there on the ground, her blood pooling beneath her as the pale, golden light fades.

It's all he can do not to break down again right then and there, remembering the words she'd shared as, he realizes now, she was dying. And now...

He doesn't get to think hard on it, because when Ravus speaks, he can't help the tightness in his throat when he realizes what's happening.
