A || The Airships [ All the airship are nearly identical to the one Biggs and Wedge used to rescue you nearly two months ago. The one major difference? There aren't over seventy people struggling for space! This time, you are free to move around. Even the pilots can be visited, though it is recommended you do not disturb them too much, they're quite busy after all.
You can even find a holographic projector, similar to the one that informed you of your situation upon arrival. Activating it, you can watch and listen to Biggs & Wedge's message again. This time though, seeing how your character has access to some of the ship's functions, you can also switch between different messages. There is an holographic message of Kupoto doing the explanatory speech but he messed up so much doing so that it's no surprise why his wasn't used. Another holographic message is Ganeshan giving a very loud and excited speech about Jobs, never seen before footage! Another one seems to be an accidental take of Claire talking about good places to get lunch. And yet another one displays a Hypello, a Moogle, a Pupu and a Bangaa together playing a weirdly catchy music. Probably best not to lose sleep wondering where this comes from.
And... There is an option to record your own holographic message? Better not touch this. ]
B || Dream Width Travels [ Travelling through the Dream Width may feel similar if not identical to space travels, for those familiar with interstellar trips. The one major difference is how... "Colorful" the Dream Width is compared to space. The colors are quite muted and scarce, yet isn't space supposed to be nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see? It is as if someone cast filaments of color all over a pitch black canvas, a rainbow running across the otherwise dark and infinite expanse.
Of course, there are stars as well. According to the NPCs piloting your airship, they have never found life anywhere, besides people lost in their memories. As a matter of fact, life is believed to be impossible on any other planet. Some scholars have advanced the theory that the stars are little more than representations of the worlds hidden beyond the Dream Width, where you come from. Others, however, feel there must be some manner of anomaly to explain the lack of any lifeforms anywhere.
No matter the truth, it changes little to the situation at hand. ]
C || Disturbances [ But what is a space travel without disturbances? After a few hours, the airships start shaking and trembling, as if an outside force is battering against the metallic walls. The NPC Pilots will then ask you all to hold on to something. If asked, they'll mention this is how a ship usually reacts when entering a memory nebula, yet... They're not anywhere close to one.
Perhaps it's time for you to get lost into your very first memory... ]
