Kanji shook the cobwebs out of his brain, but nothing was pulling the damn punches. Their numbers were thinning on the other side... but if they didn't turn things around soon they'd be following suit.

More of his power was drained just as one more 'fuck you', and his patience had worn thin. That's it, keep hitting the tank, that was his job... and that feeling returned. Was this what he'd been warned about, something that he could do if he was taken down to his last pegs?

But before he could really think further than that, the very fine red line was crossed with a solid Blizzaga. Shouldn't'a done that. He'd made a promise and he intended on keeping it.

"That's it! You're all fuckin' dead!" The feeling had become a demand. He stood upright and the chill against his body was gone. It was second nature to reach out, and he couldn't help but feel his stomach loop and his heart tighten at the sight of the Emperor Arcana seal card.

Like old times. "Takeji-Zaiten!"

The card shattered like glass under his grip, and with it came the rush of power and a blue aura. Rising up at over twice his height behind him was something that blended the supernatural with the mechanical, the demon lord made of metal, wires and a hell of a lot of machismo.

Kanji pounded his open palm with a fist, and his Persona followed suit. Then they both hurtled forward, double-teaming on remaining foes with a bare-fisted ferocity that only a 110% done delinquent and his equally-incensed demonic thunder god alter ego could accomplish, abandoning sword and hammer for a good old-fashioned Level 2 Ass-Whoopin', Tatsumi-Style. There was no grace, no style to the outright brawl that occurred, only trying to cause as much damage as humanly possible.

But as they proceeded, the mechanical creature had begun to glow, building in power throughout the assault. At the apex, and with an impressive flex for good measure, a wide-range lightning spell came crashing down over the field, signaling his departure back into Kanji's soul. He disappeared with as much of a bang as he'd appeared.
