It took longer than Adrien would've expected of Plagg, but maybe - just like how he couldn't phase through things - another aspect of his power had been reduced. That's a bit more annoying - power limitations hadn't been a real issue, but this was going to push those boundaries. But he felt the ropes loosen up and slipped his hands out, sitting up to undo the rest himself while Plagg went back into hiding.
