"Good morning," Clarus responded, nodding his greeting to Prompto as his hands remained firmly on the bird he was showering with attention. He'd come to appreciate Prompto as a fellow chocobo enthusiast, and felt at ease showing his softer side toward the birds around the young man.
"Sunshine is in fine form this morning," he informed the other human. "You'll want to take her for a good long ride today." He gave the bird one final pat before moving on to his bird, procuring some grapes from his pocket and offering them to the big yellow creature. She warked excitedly and tried to snap the fruit from his hand, but he brought his other hand up and smacked her on the beak, causing her to recoil and look at her rider ruefully. She did, however, calm down, and waited until Clarus offered the food to her. "Go on," he said, giving permission for her to take the grapes from his palm. When more grapes were brought forth, she waited patiently for the verbal cue despite the treat being in plain view.
