[Closed] Frankenmog Quest
Who: Riku and Naomi
When: 10/5
Where: Kiddilion
What: Riku and Naomi investigate the tunnels in Kiddilion to find the lost soul who is crying out.
Warnings/Notes: N/A
Riku shoves his hands deeper into his pockets as he waits for Naomi's arrival at the entrance of one of the lesser used tunnels in the city. Even underground he knows that it has to be getting close to dusk, and according to a few of the residents he's spoken too, these tunnels are where they should be able to find the source of the crying that's been reported.
He'd taken this job for the gil and the chance to travel. It had sounded like an adventure what with the mystery surrounding the cries and what could be causing them. What he hadn't expected was how uncomfortable it would be for him to be underground and enclosed in such tight spaces. In retrospect, having been raised on an island and used to open spaces and fresh air, he should have expected it.
With nothing else to do to distract him from his nerves, he pulls out his iMog Slate, debating whether to message Naomi again or not. Shaking his head at himself, he slips it back into his pocket.
"Relax. She got the message and will be here soon. Hopefully."
Just as he's about the tuck his hands back into his pockets, he hears it. A low, mournful sound coming from deep inside the tunnel he's guarding.
