Uendo had slipped away once the kegs started showing up. It wasn't that he disliked parties, really -- he just didn't want to risk accidentally drinking something he shouldn't.
He can't help but feel a little bad for bailing, though. At least he can drop by in the morning to thank their host for going through all this trouble... and maybe go buy some over-the-counter painkillers on the way there.
