To someone who is not an extremely bitter child, Kuja's lack of reaction may just come off as alarming. "I see. Well, suffice to say I don't think they'd be judged here, or on Gaia, for that matter. I could list the number of colorful and intelligent species that call Gaia home, but I doubt we have that much time. You could likely even study magic here, if you wanted, with these... Asterisk things."

Though from what I've seen, humans I have met are... not fundamentally decent, nor fundamentally wicked. Like the rest of us, they are, fundamentally, people, all the hero of their own story. Nobody ever thinks they're evil, save the mentally deranged. No, the worst evils are always done by short-sighted morons who think they can't possibly be wrong."
