Oh, a number, spanning over many languages as many mothers of different races ease their children to sleep. However, depending on the race, you'll find they're less sweet and more 'if you sleep you can destroy an enemy den tomorrow at full strength' or 'if you rest you can eat the most nightmares', that sort of thing.

I'm afraid I don't know of my examples, however. It's only what I've heard from others who understand the respective languages.

Oh? ( they seem to perk especially at the mention of those... less than wholesome sort of songs. ) Would you happen to have at least one example of one of these... melodies— ( was that right? ) that would destroy an enemy onslaught come morning? Something like that sounds quite useful, actually.

( much more useful than a song to put asleep someone that hardly ever got the chance... or someone that did nothing but. ) I wasn't aware nightmares could be used in exchange for calories however, hmm.

( they're... taking this rather literally, it seems. )

Dendar, a great serpent, feeds on nightmares. She is the reason we all rest peacefully and do not remember our more horrific nightmares.

As for a song of enemy onslaughts... hmm. Perhaps you ought ask the Berserker's Guild. They may have such songs.

Fascinating. I will have to try and catch sight of this great serpent next time. It's the first time I've heard of any such creature. I wonder if some of the others have seen it...

Thank you for the information. I will try to make good use of it.
