Well, at least it looked like their poem got somebody's attention. That was... good? Probably? Frisk didn't know much about writing. At Yue's question, Frisk rubs the back of their neck, shrugging. "I... dunno? I think so? I tried a pretty basic rhyming scheme while keeping a basic rhythm. At least that's what the books told me. I just wrote what felt right."

"Books told you?" He hadn't even thought of looking up poetry books...despite having been recruited in a library. Yue tilts his head curiously, though he doesn't bother questioning further. "That's what I ended up doing, too--writing what felt like it fit, or something. Maybe that's just how poem-writing works?"

"Probably. I mean, most famous poets on my world get away with no grammar, punctuation, or capitalization, sooo I feel like it's safe to say poetry can be as freestyle as you want it to be." Frisk shrugs. They could probably say the same for most art, really, but they had already done enough thinking when they wrote this thing. "There's probably some kind of essay on the human condition in the way we treat art, but I'm not going to be the one to write it."

So what he's getting from this is that you can get famous by writing literally anything you want? There's an ooh of amazement at the idea. "If that's how it is, maybe we could get famous too! With our poems...though I don't know what I'd do if I did get famous, hehe." Buy lots of snacks, maybe?

...He might not be quite mature enough to be rich, just yet.

Frisk somehow doubted that, but hey, they weren't about to puncture this guy's dreams. "Yeah, if you try hard enough! Aaaand I don't know what I would do if I got famous, either. Probably buy a lot of snacks." Frisk isn't exactly that mature either.

"Ah, I'd do that too! For sure." He's laughing, imagining the two of them in a pile of snacks the size of Scrooge McDuck's vault. "Probably Monica-chan's more likely to get famous than either of us though...I bet she's got lots more experience."

"Yeah, she's serious about poetry." Frisk shakes their head, lifting a dubious eyebrow in Monika's general direction. "I still find it kinda hard to believe that she roped this many people into literature club."

"Mm, maybe they came for the snacks?" He laughs as he says this, but also...he does like snacks. Can't totally lie about that.

"I guess I do like poems though, sort of. They're fun to read, don't you think?"

"Yeah. I mean, they're SUPER pretentious a lot of the time, but half the fun is taking it too seriously." Frisk smiles cheekily. "The other half is making fun of 'em if they're really snooty."
