Who: Zero/Suzaku Kururugi and you!

Where: Dark Knight Guild (Von Oktavia) & Cavalier Guild (Nakagawa)
What: Suzaku's making long overdue trips to get his Job Classes.
Warnings/Notes: He's not wearing his Zero mask anymore, but is still wearing the outfit. (Because what is shopping?)

[ Suzaku knows he should have done this ages ago -- he's been in Vaikuntha for more than a month and hadn't joined any of the guilds he had been researching. The lack of ambition he's shown recently is unlike him, save for when he had been very young.
The Curti Center had helped him arrange for transport, so he steps off the airship onto the strip in Von Oktavia. He's a bit thrown by the... size of the city, worrying over his steps as he tries to move through the city to the guild hall he is looking for.
The Paladin Hall gives off a clean, orderly, regulated air, one that draws him in. He stands at the door for a long moment, listening to the sounds of drills and sparring, of cameraderie and joy in a shared purpose. But that sort of virtuous behavior seems... too clean for someone like him. The Paladins were strong, and could defend their allies, but the job didn't have enough power. For a long time, he has fought with the idea of the best defense being an overwhelming offense. He doesn't need a stronger shield, he needs a bigger sword.
So he turns away and moves toward the hall where the Dark Knights join up.
And kind of stares at the door, blinking, as he hears very very loud music coming from inside. ]
Is this the right place?
Nakagawa
[ Even the name of the place fills Suzaku with a mix of wonder and bittersweet pangs. A year after the liberation of the Areas back home, Japan was still adjusting to reclaiming itself. The Britannian colonial rule had been so brutal, so punishing, that ten years had been enough to make people wary to use the old terms, names, language...
Obviously, Nakagawa is not Japan, and never will be. But Suzaku feels a little bit of peace just from being there.
Where he had approached the Dark Knight guild with resolve and sense of duty, the Cavalier guild had been as close of a whim as he ever gets. Mounted knights that used speed and targeted attacks sounded like a natural fit, even if his "mount" back home had been a gigantic robot.
But the mounts in Vaikuntha were chocobos. After meeting Castor and her beautiful chocobo Seiya, he had begun to read up on the creatures -- their temperments, care, what they like to eat and play with -- and he knew joining the Cavaliers would give him access to them. He tries to justify the complete selfishness by reasoning the Job Class would be one more asset he brought to protect Lelouch and Nunnally.... as well as Euphy and even Cornelia if they can someday reconcile.
At the Cavalier Guild hall, he might be very slightly bouncing on the balls of his feet, expression serious but still lighter, anticipating, and even a bit eager. ]
I wonder if it's a popular job... hopefully they'll have openings.
